The first week's work

Early days on this new project. I’m excited about it, which is a good sign. I’m working on the vertical slice of gameplay which means a polished, finished 10 minute section of the game that feels like the whole game will feel.

That’s useful if I decide to bring on other team members so they can see what we’re going for, but also for myself for benchmarking how long its going to take as well as getting to the real game within the game idea. Many game ideas start as one thing before mutating into something else as you try to make them fun. Halo was going to be an RTS originally!
